In fact you won?t really miss a restaurant on the premises, because for one thing they do restrict what you do and when you do it. You do have a fully equipped kitchen if you want to use it.

There is a small grocery store close by, so breakfast isn?t a problem, and in the heat a snack is all that is needed at lunch time and you can get this at the store, and there are good restaurants near by where you can get pretty good seafood.

Restaurants that come recommended include the Sunset Grill, and Carumbas.

You will probably want to hire a golf cart when you are there, as it makes you independent, and able to go into San Pedro which is only a couple of miles away. This is an interesting place and it and the area around are worth a couple of visits or even more.

One of the delights of Pelican Reef Villas Resort is the Pier, which means you don?t have to wade into the water, you can jump in off the pier which is a great place to sunbathe. It is also good for snorkelling, and for those of you who like snorkelling, but not the boat trips this is ideal.
