New York's Kiddie Care Early Learning Center Moving to New Facility
Commack, NY (PRWEB) May 8, 2008 ?- When co-owners Dina Brown and Robin Kane open the new Kiddie Care Early Learning Center (http://www.kiddiecarelearning.com/) this September, it will be the culmination of a professional dream.
The two young business women ? who founded, own and manage the Commack, N.Y., educational child care center ? say the new elementary school location will feature not just improved surroundings, but enhanced educational opportunities and security benefits necessary to facilitate a safe, fun learning environment.
"Kiddie Care provides a nurturing and calm atmosphere where self concept is enhanced, independence is encouraged and expectations are made clear," says Dina Brown, co-founder of Kiddie Care Early Learning Center. "At Kiddie Care, we focus on building self confidence and a sense of self worth by allowing choices."
Kiddie Care's new facility will feature courtyards, two gyms, two playgrounds, a full library with a quiet reading room, an art room, and audio/video room and an impressive computer lab. The new site ? located in a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential neighborhood one mile from the companys current location ? will replace Kiddie Care's two current facilities and will accommodate more than 300 children.
In addition, the early learning centers (http://www.kiddiecarelearning.com/) new location will include a state-of-the-art security system, complete with computer surveillance and a pin-code touch pad for each parent. All 22 classrooms will be equipped with video cameras which will be monitored from the center's security room. All visitors will be required to wear guest passes, and the entire Kiddie Care staff will have photo ID badges. Parents will be given swipe cards to check in and out of the facility, and no one will be allowed into the building without proper ID.
"Children's safety has always been a top priority at Kiddie Care. The safety features at the new facility will provide a great peace of mind to parents who leave their children in our care," Brown says.
Kiddie Care is fully licensed through the Office of Children and Family Services and is an active member of the Child Care Council. The center provides child care and education (http://www.kiddiecarelearning.com/) for children six weeks through 5 years of age. Additionally, the early learning center offers after-school care for children 5 through 10.
Though classrooms are based on age, the center will also place children in groups based on individual development.
Within each age group, Kiddie Care incorporates the following curriculum, with each area tailored to age group to ensure appropriateness: Dramatic Play; Arts and Crafts; Science and Discovery; Blocks and Construction; Table Toys; Computer Time (3-5 years only); Circle Time; Outdoor Playground, Gym, and Free Time; and Montessori programs. Kiddie Cares creative curriculum also includes karate, gymnastics, soccer and tumble bus programs for children 3.5 years and older, and program options will continue to expand.
The two new gyms will each have separate activities, based on age. One gym will be utilized for children 3 and older, and the other gym ? designated for younger children -- will be equipped with climbing toys and wall-to-wall floor mats to help with slips and falls. One day per week, Kiddie Care will have a gym instructor teach class for the children. There are also two outdoor, secured play areas that are located on facility grounds.
As part of an effort to improve nutrition, the center recently partnered with Makinajian Organic Farm of Huntington, N.Y. The farm will provide the learning center with a variety of organic fruits, vegetables, milk, cereals and snacks.
"Kiddie Care is always seeking to improve the services that we can provide to our student body and parents,? says Robin Kane. "This spacious new school will give us the opportunity to enhance the day care experience and give parents the peace of mind knowing that their child is in a professional and safe environment."
People who want to learn more about Kiddie Care can visit representatives from the center at the Hauppauge Industrial Association's 20th Annual Business Trade Show and Conference on May 22. Kiddie Care will be showcasing its new school and its services at the event.

Hotel, Where Does The Name Come From?
Hotel, an organization which makes paid accommodation available, generally on a temporary basis. Hotels habitually provide numerous guest services, for example, a restaurant, a childcare or a swimming pool. A number of hotels contain meeting rooms and conference facilities and encourage people to arrange get-togethers and conventions at their own place. No rigid rule of differentiating hotels from other motels is there, though, a Motel clearly suggests that it is intended for motorists. It simply means that it is nothing but a hotel but with first-class access to the highway network. Characteristically, motel means a hotel, made suitable for inhabitants who, for no matter what private reason, wish not to be unable to have rapid right to use...
