Derby Hotel Kensington, London, Re-opens after a Facelift
The Derby Hotel Kensington is the latest addition to London Town Hotels' expanding collection. This newly refurbished 3 star hotel set in the fashionable London district of Kensington, re-opened its doors on 13th September 2007, under new management.
Managing Director, Koolesh Shah comments, "the Derby Hotel Kensington fits nicely into our London portfolio of hotels, alongside our flagship 4 star Quality Crown Hotels in Paddington, Hyde Park and Kensington."
This town house hotel has a classical English style with wide corridors, spacious rooms and high ceilings. It also features a well kept garden where guests can enjoy a cup of tea or read a book. The lobby provides high speed internet access and a welcoming seating area where guest can relax and unwind at the end of the day. WiFi internet access will also shortly be available throughout the hotel.
"We believe this hotel fills a gap for those reluctant to afford 4 star prices. It is ideally situated in Kensington and is appealing to both leisure and business travellers. The hotel has now been refurbished to a 3 star superior standard and we expect the hotel to be very popular," states Koolesh Shah.
London Town Hotels continues to invest in the UK hotel market and consequently is growing year on year. The most recent venture may even take the group outside of London for the first time - the purchase of a Midlands 3 star hotel is currently being negotiated. The company's first London boutique hotel, The Paddington Park is opening in the Spring 2008. This is definitely the hotel group to watch.
